- 1-7 or 7-1 Couplet: Superficially, the 1-7 or 7-1 combination means that the person is attractive (pretty or handsome). But pulchritude is not as important as the person’s meticulous attention to detail and organization from which beauty is obtained. Roughly one out of every 12 people will have Libra on the cusp or within the 1st House creating the 1-7 combination. But this combination can show up elsewhere – Aries on the 7th House, Mars in the 7th House, etc. Finally, the 1st and 7th Triads are natural complements to each other. The 7th Triad does planning while the 1st Triad takes action. One without the other is ineffective.
DHARMA: Though the 1-7 indicates that the person is beautiful (self + beauty), it is more indicative of the person being a superb organizer and artistic, too. It is from the meticulous behavior of 7th Triad people that a masterpiece painting is created. And it is from razor sharp attention to detail and organization that court decisions are made, decisions that sometimes can mean life or death to the defendant, which is why it includes law and the legal system.
KARMA: An obsession with ‘self beauty’ can be one downfall of the 7th Triad. The persnickety attitude of a 7th Triad person can prevent him or her from ever being satisfied. Any desire for perfection can rarely be attained, and insistence upon its achievement is usually doomed and horrendously costly. This is clearly a character flaw. As an outgrowth of this persnickety behavior is the inability to make a decision. Sharon Mann referred to this as being ‘wishy-washy’.
As with all couplets, the above descriptions are not exhaustive, and they will be augmented as new data is brought forth.
